Coffee

     It is creamy, sugary, and it is the favorite drink of adults. One more thing, your parents enjoy it in their spare time. Do you know what it is? It is coffee.  Yummy, delicious coffee. Good morning honorable judges, teachers, parents and fellow classmates. Let's find out why adults crave coffee so badly everyday.

     The history of coffee goes at least as far back as the thirteenth century. Coffee was discovered when an Arabian shepherd named Kaldi found his goats dancing energetically around a dark green leafed bush with bright red fruit that looked like cherries in the southern tip of the Arabian Peninsula which today would be Saudi Arabia.  Kaldi figured out that it was the bright red cherries on the bushes which made the goats happy and hyper. He learned of the powerful effect after he tried the cherries himself.  After this the special cherries were used by monks at a local monastery to stay awake during long hours of prayer.  These monks sent the amazing cherries to other monasteries around the world.  Coffee was finally discovered.

     I'm sure the most people here knows how to make coffee, but for the people who doesn't know how to make coffee, here it is. It's actually simple 

1. First of all, you should put water in a kettle and plug it in.
2. Next, take the instant coffee and put about one slightly rounded teaspoon  in a mug. 
3. Third, pour just a teaspoon of the very hot water into the mug
4.  Fourth, stir in the rest of the hot water.
5. After that, add fresh whole milk, if you want to, you can put some cream on it if you desired.
6. For the last, you may want to flavor it, such as vanilla extract, cocoa powder, or ground cinnamon.

But if you are out of time, you could use a coffee bag. All you have to do with it is pour the coffee

meterial from the bag and just add hot water. My parents enjoy coffee bag, because you can bring them easily and everyone knows that adding hot water isn't that hard.

     Do you know why adults don't allow childrens to to drink coffee? I will tell you why with my experience. When  my mom drinks her coffee, sometimes I ask her if I can drink some and of course she says "NO." I'm pretty sure that most of students in here have done it before. So have you ever wondered why do adults drink coffee but they don't want us to drink it? I'm sure it's because of "Caffeine." Caffeine stops our body from growing and developing. It can infect our brain so you don't become as smart as you should. It also effects your growth so you can't be tall. It also makes it hard to go to sleep easily. It is like a sugar- rush. A sugar- rush makes you hyper so you can't calm down or go to sleep, coffee is the same thing. Adults' body parts are already grown up so it doesn't really matter that if they drink coffee or not, that's their choice.  Now we can't argue anymore with adults why we can't drink coffee!

    I guess some of you here think that my speech is boring so I will tell you a cool thing about coffee. The world's most expensive coffee  is ...cat poop! It is called Coffee Kopi luwak which come from Indonesian. It costs about  50 dollars a cup and about 300 dollars for a pound.  It's amazing how expansive it is. But, it's all in the way how it's made.  Don't you want to hear how it's made? You might think it's easier than making a cup of coffee. What you should do first is just let Civet cats, which look like small ferrets, eat coffee beans from the coffee trees, and it shouldn't be just regular coffee beans, it has to be a special coffee bean, which is Panocha. And then collect the cats poop. That was easy wasn't it? The cats can't digest the coffee beans but the cat takes away that bitter taste from the coffee beans. That's how the most expensive coffee is made.

    I learned many new facts about coffee. What would be happened if those goats didn't eat that coffee? Caffeine is what your parents love when they drink coffee. And can you believe that people would pay 50 dollars for a cup of cat poop coffee? Coffee,  the most interesting drink.
